We're seeking a professional and courteous driver to transport materials to and from specified destinations. This role is essential in representing The Salvation Army while providing exceptional service to our donors and maintaining efficient operations. What You’ll Do Transportation & Logistics Follow scheduled routing procedures efficientlyDrive Salvation Army truck for pickups and deliveriesEnsure security and safe handling of all goods and materialsPerform daily pre and post-trip inspections of vehiclesMaintain equipment in excellent working orderComply with all DOT and OSHA regulationsTrain and Certify New Production Assistants Customer Service Act as a personal representative of The Salvation ArmyEnsure all donors are treated courteously and respectfullyCommunicate donation acceptance policy with donorsReport any pickup problems to dispatcherMaintain professional appearance per ARC dress code Operations Support Use DSS program and assigned iPad apps effectivelySupport beneficiaries in work therapy goals through training and mentoringHandle loading and unloading of trucks as neededWear all assigned PPE including gloves, masks, and back guardReport any safety or security concerns immediately Why Join Us Mission-driven work that supports programs in your communityOn-the-job trainingTeam-oriented environmentEmployee Discount, Employee Assistance Program, and more!
