What You’ll Do
- Greet donors, assist with unloading donations, and provide receipts.
- Sort, inspect, and price merchandise following safety and quality guidelines.
- Move items to the sales floor and keep work areas clean and organized.
- Load/unload donation trailers and handle custodial tasks throughout your shift.
- Track donation counts accurately and help maintain store cleanliness, including cart retrieval.
- Report any safety, theft, or security concerns to management.
- Support the team with additional duties as needed.
You'll be working indoors and outdoors with exposure to the elements.
Requirements
- Friendly, dependable team players who enjoy helping others.
- No experience required—we'll provide training.
- Able to follow safety procedures and handle physical tasks (lifting, standing, moving merchandise).
- Open to feedback and eager to grow through free skill-building opportunities.
- Reliable, trustworthy, and ready to work in a team-focused environment.
Physical Demands
- Expect plenty of standing, walking, and using your hands.
- You'll often talk, reach, bend, kneel, push, and pull.
- Occasionally, you may climb or balance.
- Heavy lifting up to 100+ pounds is part of the role.
- Strong vision for distance and depth is key.
