Domiciliary / Home Care Worker

About This Role

Domiciliary Care Workers visit clients in their own homes across Bedford. You will deliver personal care, domestic support, and companionship while helping people remain independent in familiar surroundings.

Key responsibilities

• Visiting clients at home to deliver agreed personal care and support plans
• Medication prompts, meal preparation, and light domestic assistance
• Building trusted relationships with clients and family carers
• Recording visits accurately on care management systems
• Reporting concerns promptly under safeguarding procedures

What we look for

• You already live in the UK — we do not recruit this role from overseas
• You need a Certificate of Sponsorship, or you already have the right to work here
• Home care or community care experience is preferred
• Punctual, organised, and comfortable working independently in people's homes
• A full UK driving licence is a strong advantage for visit-based work
• Willing to complete a DBS check, induction, and lone-working training
• Available for early mornings, evenings, and some weekend visits

Domiciliary roles with CoS support are for eligible candidates already in the UK. Each sponsor certificate is tied to a genuine vacancy with defined duties and pay.
