Domestic Violence Case Manager

Job Summary

The Domestic Violence Case Manager provides case management/advocacy services in the Domestic Violence Shelter to assist clients who are victims of domestic violence and/or sexual assault, dating violence, and stalking. Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting clients in setting goals to be completed during their shelter experience
• Providing support groups and life skills
• Linking clients with appropriate agency and community resources
• Advocating on the victim’s behalf
• Maintaining a shelter environment conducive to client success
• Providing rapid rehousing housing services

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social services or related field preferred OR an Associates with 2-3 yrs experience OR high school diploma with 4 yrs experience required
• 1 yr. experience in a social work/human services setting
• 1 yr. of case mgmt. experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent communication skills both written and oral
• Valid Driver's License

• Bilingual English/Spanish
• Supportive Services Knowledge
• Trauma Informed Care Trained
• Rehousing services knowledge or experience
