Domestic Assistant

About the role

We are seeking talented and caring individuals looking to begin or continue their career in Social Care with us, making a difference to the lives of our residents at Renaissance Care. We are seeking an experienced Temporary Domestic Assistant to join our team in Rosepark Care Home for 24 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness in the home, ensuring communal areas and residents' bedrooms are clean and tidy.
• Clean en-suites, public toilets, baths and hand basins daily as per the cleaning schedule provided by management.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar role or sector (preferred).
• Ability to demonstrate an understanding of COSHH, HACCP and infection control procedures.

• Communicate effectively.
• Work well as part of a team.
• Confidence to work autonomously.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Respectful of residents' dignity and privacy, ensuring residents' right to confidentiality is maintained at all times.
