Responsibilities
- Operate Cosm display systems during high-profile events, private events, and demos.
- Must be present and contributing during key weekend events, which often include late nights.
- Cook with Venue IT, Venue personnel, Technical Directors, and additional support staff to always provide a Cosmworthy experience.
- Aid in maintaining readiness of systems and providing basic troubleshooting during assigned shifts.
- Provide routine feedback to the Cosm product development staff to advance tool functionality.
- Become an expert in an array of audio, visual, and lighting systems that all come together to deliver the Cosm Experience.
- Monitor scheduled events/demonstrations and proactively coordinate with AV Operators.
- Log and track issues across all systems with attention to detail focused on firmware and hardware functionality.
- Anticipate challenges, stay proactive, and pivot quickly under pressure to ensure smooth operations, no matter what challenges arise.
- Focus on the guest experience at all times.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Broadcasting, Audio Production, Film, Television and Digital Media or similar relevant fields preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience operating a live entertainment environment.
- Experience in Audio, Lighting, Broadcast, IT, and/or streaming IP video workflows.
- Familiarity with audio/visual signal flows and diagrams, and AV automation systems preferred.
- Familiarity with Windows, OBS, Blackmagic, QSYS, DMX lighting, IPTVs, Unreal, Osprey encoders.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Passion for hospitality, entertainment, and cool technology required.
- Any additional relevant diploma or certification, or industry experience with large venue AV technology is a plus.
- Must be enthusiastic, self-motivated, and organized.
- Strong leadership skills, an ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Must be able to work during live events, with high noise levels, and busy environments.
- Must be able to work late nights and weekends.
