About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Utilities Functional Consultant with 10–15 years of expertise in utilities consulting to lead requirements gathering, business process mapping, and solution design for metering, billing, and field operations.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business SMEs to gather and document requirements for Metering, Billing, and Field Operations.
• Perform business process mapping (As-Is/To-Be), gap analysis, and solution blueprinting.
• Create Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs), Use Cases, Process Flows, and Data Mapping.
• Lead UAT planning, test case validation, and secure business sign-offs.
• Provide SME guidance during integration, testing, and deployment phases.

Domain Expertise

• AMI event lifecycle: reads, intervals, tamper alerts, outage events.
• MDMS functionalities: VEE, aggregation, estimations, meter exchanges.
• Billing determinants and revenue protection.
• Asset management for meters, transformers, and feeders.

Tools

• Visio, ARIS, Bizagi (process modeling).
• Jira/Azure DevOps (requirements & traceability).
• Meter data analytics tools.

Pay

$95,000 – $110,000 a year.
