DOJ Facilitator

Duties, Functions and Responsibilities

• Administer the FFSC curriculum to fathers in the program.
• Complete an assessment of each father.
• Facilitate group/individual sessions and schedule events for each 6-week session.
• Monitor case management for clients weekly.
• Facilitate all scheduled classroom activities and complete monthly reporting.
• Maintain a network of community and social service agencies as resources.
• Market the program through various media channels.
• Travel to multiple locations and/or work alternate sites.
• Make follow-up phone calls to potential and past clients.
• Attend internal and community meetings as needed.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Culturally competent and deeply understanding of working with the re-entry/ex-offenders.
• Able to create strong relationships with participants and have knowledge of evidence-based reentry practices.
• Must understand and practice the NASW code of ethics.
• Able to utilize agency and community resources to meet goals.
• Able to present curriculum-based material to large and small groups.
• Team-oriented and able to work independently and multitask.
• Familiar with MS Office Suite and have a general knowledge of relevant legislation.

Education and Experience Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, with an Associates Degree preferred.
• Competence in working with men who need direction as it relates to parenting issues.
• Valid Missouri driver's license and reliable, insured vehicle.

Pay Range

Range: $20 - $22 per hour
