  • Sanitize bedding, dishes, toys, and accessories; restock supplies as needed
  • Assist with lobby customer relations, ensuring pet parents feel informed and at ease
  • Aid with grooming tasks (bathing, brushing, drying)

  • Work respectfully with teammates and maintain a positive, professional attitude at all times

Qualifications

  • Familiarity with kennel operations and animal care
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to handle animals safely and confidently, including large/giant breed dogs
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • The ability to remain calm and level-headed with a pleasant demeanor
  • Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, and stand or walk for long periods
  • Comfortable working indoors and outdoors with dogs of all sizes and temperaments
  • Available for flexible scheduling, including holidays and weekends

Growth Path

  • Demonstrate readiness for Pack Leader 2 by consistently and reliably meeting all job duties
  • Set an example for attendance standards by consistently and reliably showing up to work on time and ready to go
  • Demonstrate an exceptional attention to detail and can communicate effectively with peers and supervisors
