DoD STARBASE Program Instructors

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct instruction to 5th-grade students with the DoD STARBASE STEM curriculum using a collaborative co-teaching model.
• Manage classrooms: set up, tear down, and inventory lesson materials routinely to keep shared classrooms organized.
• Maintain a fun, professional relationship with participating students, visiting classroom teachers, and staff.
• Develop and provide instruction for summer camp participants as assigned.
• Participate in at least two community outreach events, such as TechFest or the STEM Hoopla Challenge.

Schedule

110 days every six months, 7.5 hours/day, 8:00–3:30.

Pay

$260.25/day plus benefits.

Start Date

July 20, 2026 or thereafter.
