About the role
Type: Contract | Compensation: $40 – $80/hour | Location: Remote | Commitment: 10–40 hrs/week
Responsibilities
- Develop and provide well-structured prompts and input artifacts for DoD staff writing tasks.
- Create grading guidelines to evaluate AI-generated outputs for accuracy and compliance.
- Produce authentic report artifacts reflecting real-world DoD documentation style and language.
- Contribute to the design and review of test materials for AI summarizing and reporting tasks.
- Engage in feedback cycles to refine prompts, responses, and grading rubrics.
Requirements
- Strong relevant experience as a former federal contributor for the U.S. Department of Defense.
- Experience producing key reporting artifacts such as WARs, SITREPs, and executive summaries.
- Background in one of the six branches of the U.S. military with diverse experience across roles.
- Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communication with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with back-office tools and processes, including PowerPoint and Excel.
