DoD SkillBridge Internship - Sherpa 6

Responsibilities

• Participate in hands-on training with DoD hardware and software technologies.
• Aid in the development, integration, and testing of technical solutions.
• Attend program and project meetings to observe solution development processes.
• Support innovative technology initiatives and problem-solving efforts.
• Gain exposure to the transition process from R&D to service delivery.
• Learn the fundamentals of project management, customer engagement, and training support.

Requirements

• A transitioning military service member eligible for the DoD SkillBridge Program.
• Eager to develop new technical skills and contribute to mission-driven projects.
• Interest in systems integration, IT support, and defense technology solutions.
• Strong work ethic, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of honorable military service.
• 5 years’ experience in a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Highly responsible, team-oriented individual with a strong work ethic; self-starter.

Pay

The proposed salary range is reflective across all Sherpa 6 locations, years of experience, and skill levels. Salary negotiations will be based on a host of factors including but not limited to your geographic location, prior experience, relevant skills, education, and certifications.

Schedule

Work schedule will vary in accordance with SkillBridge Program guidelines.
