DOD Skillbridge Corporate Fellowship Program - Policy Analyst/Strategist

Noblis is seeking qualified military members eligible to participate in the DOD Skillbridge program as a Policy Analyst/Strategist. This initiative supports transitioning active-duty personnel in finding meaningful employment and preparing for the civilian workforce through hands-on experience, training, and mentorship. The Corporate Fellowship Program lasts 30 days and includes professional networking opportunities. Noblis is a military-friendly company with over 25% of employees being prior or current military.

This position will support a contract with the Department of War or the Defense Threat Reduction Agency related to Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction. Specific details will be determined based on interest and availability at the start date. Possible areas of work include:

  • Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and Explosives (CBRNE) operations
  • Nuclear deterrence
  • Counter-WMD policy
  • Medical/biological defense
  • Advanced modeling & simulation

Responsibilities

  • Develop and apply basic skills in areas of specialization under clear direction from your supervisor.
  • Work on simple, routine assignments of limited scope and complexity, performing clearly defined tasks requiring basic skills or certification.
  • Deliver entry-level technical, administrative, business, or customer service support.
  • Apply basic knowledge to resolve routine problems and complete assignments.
  • Learn the work environment while handling a small, limited workload and seek assistance for complex issues.
  • Learn and implement policies, procedures, quality standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Receive close daily supervision.

Requirements

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance (Secret or TS/SCI depending on role).
  • Strong background directly aligned with the technical or analytical specialty area.
  • Knowledge of the Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction mission area and the Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear threat space.
  • Experience supporting DoW, interagency, or national security missions (highly desirable).
  • Strong analytical, communication, and writing skills.

Qualifications

The following qualifications may help determine which contract is a good fit:

  • Familiarity with programming systems (Python, C++, Java, MATLAB).
  • Understanding of CBRNE hazards.
  • Knowledge of WMD technologies and proliferation mechanisms.
  • Background in technical CBRNE disciplines.
  • Strong understanding of WMD threats and non-proliferation regimes.
  • Knowledge of international CWMD and CBRN agreements.
  • Policy analysis, strategic planning, and research expertise.
  • Familiarity with international security or diplomatic environments.
  • Background in military medicine, emergency response, or public health.
  • Familiarity with DoD medical programs or consortia.

Pay

The projected salary range for this position is USD $47,840.00 - USD $71,240.00 (bi-annual), based on full-time status. Compensation is determined by education, certifications, skills, experience, internal/external equity, location, clearance level, and organizational requirements. For part-time or on-call staff, compensation is proportionately adjusted based on hours worked.
