Documentation Coordinator
About the Role
The Documentation Coordinator operates within event management and marketing for corporate events, product launches, brand activations, creative design, and experiential campaigns. This role focuses on documentation-driven coordination to maintain operational control, ensuring confirmed facts, pending dependencies, and exceptions are visibly separated and managed.
Responsibilities
- Review documentation with business support to ensure visibility of source, owner, status, and next action within the context of event management and marketing.
- Document global events with status tracking, maintaining a clear record of source, owner, status, and next steps.
- Maintain workflow and deadline management, ensuring documentation remains current and actionable.
- Reconcile documentation with reporting to provide traceable and accurate records.
- Coordinate quality control and source verification to prevent downstream rework and surface repeated errors.
Decision-Making Standards
Operational control must remain usable under the specific demands of event management and marketing. Work should be traceable, unresolved items must have clear owners, and errors should be identified before causing rework.
Success Profile
- Use the Strive Global Events Workflow confidently to support documentation coordination in event management and marketing.
- Apply data accuracy without losing track of evidence or deadlines.
- Document process compliance and issue escalation decisions to maintain clarity in reasoning.
- Exercise judgment in follow-up, especially when documentation depends on external confirmation rather than assumptions.
The role-specific handoff test ensures record management, operations coordination, and process compliance are current; if these signals are not up-to-date, the work remains open.
