Document Imaging Support Specialist

About the role

Manage document imaging tasks on-site at a customer’s location, including file preparation, scanning, quality inspection, and working with design software.

Responsibilities

  • Prep files for scanning, including handling fragile documents with caution
  • Develop creative scanning solutions for various document types
  • Edit and refurbish files to ensure quality
  • Operate digital production desktop scanners and wide-format scanners
  • Use equipment scanning software and capture/document management software
  • Work with design software (Photoshop, InDesign, Adobe Professional) to perfect and merge files
  • Meet monthly scanning targets and projected numbers
  • Assist in developing e-commerce solutions
  • Update and maintain procedural manuals
  • Build and maintain professional customer relationships
  • Perform data entry and correct scanned files (cropping, color correction)
  • Maintain scanners and ensure weekly scan reports are submitted
  • Keep work area clean and perform quality checks on finished products

Requirements

  • High school diploma required; experience in data entry preferred
  • Design and editing knowledge preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
  • Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
