About the role
Manage document imaging tasks on-site at a customer’s location, including file preparation, scanning, quality inspection, and working with design software.
Responsibilities
- Prep files for scanning, including handling fragile documents with caution
- Develop creative scanning solutions for various document types
- Edit and refurbish files to ensure quality
- Operate digital production desktop scanners and wide-format scanners
- Use equipment scanning software and capture/document management software
- Work with design software (Photoshop, InDesign, Adobe Professional) to perfect and merge files
- Meet monthly scanning targets and projected numbers
- Assist in developing e-commerce solutions
- Update and maintain procedural manuals
- Build and maintain professional customer relationships
- Perform data entry and correct scanned files (cropping, color correction)
- Maintain scanners and ensure weekly scan reports are submitted
- Keep work area clean and perform quality checks on finished products
Requirements
- High school diploma required; experience in data entry preferred
- Design and editing knowledge preferred
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
- Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
