Job Summary

In this role you will be our main point of contact to gather documents to move to the next stage in the refinancing process while maintaining a positive and professional attitude towards customers at all times.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Contact customers to request and obtain necessary documents. Ensuring timely and accurate submission.
  • This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information.
  • Following up with customer via customer email/text to ensure timely submission of documents or acknowledgments of documents that might need to be signed.
  • Keeping an eye on the pipeline to also ensure that the file is moved along to the next stage in a timely manner.
  • Explain the importance of the requested documents and guide them on how to submit them (portal or email).
  • Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies.
  • Ensure all activities comply with relevant regulations and confidentiality requirements.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve the document collection process.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in mortgage processing, demonstrating a strong foundational knowledge of the loan lifecycle.
  • Meet or exceed the daily and monthly sales expectations set by management, while providing exceptional customer experience.
  • Proven customer support experience or experience as a client service representative (example: call center, collections).
  • Track record of exceeding quotas.
  • Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening.
  • Customer Orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of people.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • High school degree.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and practices.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish a plus.
