The Role
An established and growing construction business is looking to appoint a Document Control Assistant to join its busy team. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail-oriented professional with document control experience who enjoys working in a structured environment and takes pride in maintaining accurate records and processes. Working alongside project and office teams, you'll play a key role in ensuring company documentation is organised, compliant and easily accessible, supporting the successful delivery of projects.
Responsibilities
- Organise, maintain and update company documentation and records
- Manage both digital and physical filing systems
- Maintain document version control and ensure compliance with company procedures
- Support general office administration, data entry and correspondence
- Distribute documentation to internal teams and manage document access
- Assist with internal audits and retrieve records when required
- Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
Requirements
- Previous experience in a Document Control role (essential)
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and document management systems
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A proactive, reliable and professional approach to your work
