About the role

1st Pet Veterinary Centers is expanding and hiring for various roles including Emergency, Primary Care, Urgent Care, and Specialty Doctors. Early Career Mentorship Program is also available.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality veterinary care to pets and their owners
• Collaborate with other medical teams such as Emergency, Urgent Care, Specialty, Behavioral, and Rehabilitation
• Tap into mentorship opportunities for new veterinarians
• Participate in ongoing professional development through CE allowances

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
• Current license to practice veterinary medicine in Arizona
• Experience in one or more of the above-mentioned areas preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients

Qualifications

• Passionate about providing exceptional care for pets and their families
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Strong emotional intelligence and empathy

Skills

• Effective communication and client service skills
• Proficiency in electronic medical records systems
• Comfortable working in fast-paced environments

Pay

Compensation varies based on experience and role, starting at 22% ProSal for overnight emergency and specialty doctors.

Schedule

Shifts vary depending on the location and role, ranging from 7am to 11pm and 24/7 availability.
