Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) Location: Manhattan Spine Care (MSC) in New York, NY Employment Type: Full-Time Days: Monday–Friday; 8-hour shift daily Hours: 8 am–4 pm; Schedule can shift based on seasonal needs of the practice Experience: 0–10 years Pay: $95K–$124K. Commensurate with experience. ABOUT US: MANHATTAN SPINE CARE is a private chiropractic practice in Midtown Manhattan and serves as the largest nonoperative spine service in the city. It is affiliated with the Hospital for Special Surgery, where its founder and lead doctor, Douglas Seckendorf, DC, is on staff. The practice style is collaborative, with multiple doctors often working together on cases. There is a heavy focus on manual traction (flexion distraction), soft tissue therapy, and therapeutic exercise. The doctors oversee a team of exercise physiologists and certified athletic trainers that assist in taking patients through their rehab exercises. Most patients are referred by surgeons and nonoperative specialists/physicians, and our doctors are expected to collaborate with external physicians on patient care. Key Responsibilities: Deliver one-on-one, orthopedically focused chiropractic care Utilize manual spinal traction, flexion distraction, joint mobilization and manipulation, soft tissue techniques, modalities, and rehabilitative exercise Collaborate with certified athletic trainers, exercise physiologists, and other providers as part of a team-based model Participate in structured training and professional development What We’re Looking For: Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) from an accredited institution Licensed (or in the process) to practice in New York State Strong foundation in diagnosis, history, examination, functional rehab, and orthopedic principles Excellent communication and time-management skills Professional, collaborative, and eagerness to learn Updated resume required Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) Paid time off (15 days) and sick leave (5 days) Paid holidays Malpractice insurance reimbursement Continuing education stipend Commuter transit benefit No weekends required
