About the role

The Marina Services Worker ensures guest satisfaction at the marina by navigating vessels, assisting guests with boat operations, maintaining dock areas, cleaning and restocking vessels, and providing general customer service.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and maintains docks and public areas to ensure safety and satisfaction of guests and marina staff.
• Ensures customers understand boating safety, vessel operation, and assists with docking and piloting of boats.
• Cleans interior and exterior of vessels to ensure guest safety and satisfaction.
• Restocks, refuels, maintains, and prepares vessels for guests.
• May assist customers with transporting luggage.
• Greets customers and assists with inquiries or concerns while anticipating customer needs.
• Provides excellent service and maintains a positive demeanor toward guests, customers, clients, and co-workers.
• Job duties may change or new ones may be assigned without formal notice to meet commitments.

Requirements

• Previous experience working in a marina preferred.
• Demonstrates excellent customer service skills.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.

Qualifications

• This role may have physical demands including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and/or extended walking and standing.
• May require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
