About the role

Responsibilities

  • Maintains and extracts data from automated docketing databases and systems.
  • Inputs information into databases and systems and updates records.
  • Extracts requested program/statistical data when requested.
  • Receives and reviews incoming case files and documents.
  • Reviews recurring reports.
  • Updates databases and systems to record status changes.
  • Closes cases out, as directed.
  • Produces a variety of written documents and materials utilizing a wide range of office automation applications.
  • Produces tables, graphs, and charts which may be incorporated into legal documents or courtroom presentations.

Requirements

  • Conditions of employment: Must be a U.S. Citizen or National. Initial appointment is conditioned upon a satisfactory pre-employment adjudication. Continued employment is subject to a favorable adjudication of a background investigation. Must be registered for Selective Service, if applicable.
  • Time-in-Grade: Federal employees must meet time-in-grade requirements within 30 days after the closing date of this announcement. You must meet all qualification and eligibility requirements within 30 days after the closing date of this announcement and before placement in the position.

Qualifications

  • GS-05: At least one (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-04 level in Federal service; OR four (4) years of education above the high school level; OR a combination of both specialized experience and education as explained below.
  • GS-06: At least one (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-05 level.
  • GS-07: At least one (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-06 level.
