About the role

Responsible for loading and unloading cargo from ships, trucks, and other vehicles at local docks. Duties include moving heavy objects, operating cranes and other machinery, and maintaining dock safety.

Responsibilities

• Moving heavy objects using forklifts and other equipment
• Operating cranes and other machinery safely
• Maintaining dock safety protocols
• Communicating effectively with team members and supervisors

Requirements

• Valid driver's license
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects
• Knowledge of maritime operations and safety regulations

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in a warehouse or similar environment

Skills

• Strong physical fitness
• Good communication skills
• Attention to detail
