Join a dynamic team as a Dock Technician, responsible for performing preventive maintenance and repairs on commercial and industrial facility equipment in a fast-paced environment. Your expertise will ensure the safety, efficiency, and reliability of dock systems, doors, and related hardware.

Responsibilities

• Conduct system inspections
• Troubleshoot issues
• Execute minor repairs
• Adhere to safety standards and OSHA regulations
• Communicate effectively with experienced technicians and potentially guide subcontractors
• Maintain high-quality operations by prioritizing safety, accuracy, and customer satisfaction

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; trade school or business training preferred
• Minimum of 1 year experience servicing commercial dock levelers, doors, and related hardware, including pneumatic or hydraulic systems
• AADMM certification preferred; valid driver’s license required
• Proficiency in interpreting instructions, manuals, and safety guidelines
• Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and basic mechanical repairs
• Ability to operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and aerial lifts safely
