Dock Lead

About the role

Levin Furniture & Mattress is hiring a Full-Time Dock Lead in Wexford, PA. The position is available immediately and offers competitive compensation and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Performs the unloading, loading, wrapping, unwrapping, moving, lifting and staging of merchandise.
• Affords assistance to the Design team with the receipt and placement of product as needed to replenish visual displays.
• Affords assistance with customer pick-ups.
• Promotes safe and secure material handling methods and distributes merchandise properly in accordance with product handling standards.
• Promotes safe and secure loading methods to avoid damages.
• Generates the following documents and completes all related tasks on a daily basis: FSR, CYCL, IST incoming and outgoing, and all price tags on incoming merchandise.
• Reports errors found on documents to supervisor.
• Completes all documentation neatly and accurately.
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment.
• Performs other duties including but not limited to light housekeeping, grounds maintenance, and painting as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication, and listening skills.
• Basic reading and comprehension skills.
• Basic numerical reasoning skills.
• Proficient with basic computer skills.
• GERS or equivalent experience necessary.

Physical Demands

• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, stand, push, pull and lift cartons weighing 100+ lbs. repetitively.
