Dock Coordinator

Job Description Coordinate all defined equipment mobilization requirements in support of the OPG Operations and OPG Projects Department at the OII Dock. Responsibilities Reads and understand proceduresReads and understand engineering drawingsPlans and coordinate premobilization activities with PM and EngineersAssists PM/Engineers with deck layoutsCoordinates 3 rd party services at the dock (welders, mobile cranes and NDT)Conducts mobilization planning with PM/OMSets up trucking schedules with PM/OM for mobilizations, demobilizations and pre/post mobilization activitiesDirects loading/offloading of trucks during mob/demobilizationInterfaces with project stake holdersGenerates EMO’s and sign work ordersSigns off on proceduresPerforms preventative maintenance on equipment stored at dockOperates forkliftDirects rigging/crane and welding operationsInventories/checks in job related equipment at the dockCoordinates proper hand over with opposite on shift changeWorks seven day/12 hour shifts at OII Dock Preferred QUALIFICATIONS Two (2) to three (3) years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
