Dock Clerk, OGA9

About the role

The Amazon operations team is looking for Dock Clerks with a strong record of achieving results to join the expanding team supporting operations leaders and associates in delivering strong operations results within our fulfillment centers. Dock Clerks will also be responsible for communicating instructions to other associates, motivating them, and keeping their work areas safe.

What you'll need

• Be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States
• Able to work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required
• Able to lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend and reach
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
• High school or equivalent
• 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience

Preferred qualifications

• 2+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience

Pay

Starting pay is $22.00 USD hourly (base pay rate plus highest available shift differential, depending on shift selected). Final pay will be based on factors including shift selection and location. Additional earnings include overtime pay and performance bonuses. Relocation assistance is not provided.

Working in an Amazon Fulfillment Center

• Climate-controlled sites, but noise and temperature levels can vary day to day; hearing protection is available
• May be asked to work on a secure mezzanine at a height of up to 40 feet, or on powered equipment (forklift, cherry picker, etc.)
• This position qualifies for a $10,000 internal launch bonus (eligibility: candidates are ineligible to receive more than one Launch Bonus within a calendar year; candidates whose current site is 50 miles or less from the new launch site will not receive a launch bonus; bonus payments are payable in accordance with the Company's standard payroll practice and subject to applicable withholding taxes)
