As a small-scale school with strong connections, you, as a Chemistry teacher, will contribute not only to excellent teaching but also as a subject specialist to the development of our curriculum. Collaboration across subjects is natural here, such as during our Huygens Days. You will also have the freedom to dedicate part of your workweek to other tasks, such as personal development.

Responsibilities

• Teaching Chemistry to students in VMBO-TL upper years (3-4 classes) and HAVO 3 (2 classes);
• Contributing to the personal development of your students;
• (Optionally) serving as a mentor for your mentor class;
• Strengthening the continuous learning pathway together with colleagues from the subject department;
• Providing tailored instruction in small groups for students needing extra support or challenge.

In your first year, we will organize an onboarding program to help you settle in, supported by two coaches for general and subject-specific guidance.

Requirements

• Qualified second-degree teacher (tweedegraads bevoegdheid);
• Experience with VMBO-TL exam classes is preferred;
• Ability to enhance the collegial atmosphere characteristic of our school;
