DNA Nanotechnology Expert - PhD

Responsibilities

• Design expert-level problems in DNA nanotechnology including DNA origami, nucleic-acid nanostructures, strand-displacement systems, and sequence/structure design.
• Review problems authored by peers for clarity, genuine difficulty, and ground-truth correctness.
• Evaluate and compare AI model outputs, delivering Accept / Revise / Reject verdicts with detailed written rationale.
• Collaborate with AI research teams to ensure accuracy and rigor in model outputs.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while improving AI model performance.

Requirements

• PhD or equivalent research experience in chemistry, bioengineering, biophysics, or a related field with a focus on DNA/nucleic-acid nanotechnology.
• Hands-on experience with DNA origami, structural nucleic-acid design, or molecular self-assembly.
• Familiarity with tools such as caDNAno, oxDNA, or NUPACK.
• Strong scientific writing and meticulous attention to detail.

$75/hour
