The DMS Sr. Coordinator – Repairs is a full time position that will be responsible for the repair and sourcing of airframe and engine parts for DMS. The position reports to the Director –Repairs and Sourcing. Scope of responsibilities includes:
- Managing relationships with repair vendors
- Tracking overall vendor performance
- Leveraging spend across the Delta Air Lines Company
- Gathering repair & overhaul price estimates on brokered and large package quotes for the commercial team
- Negotiating pricing on repairs / refurbishment of airframe and engine parts with third party providers of maintenance repair and overhaul services
- Delivering cost saving solutions to the overall value chain in an effort to reduce CASM for Delta Airlines
- Maintaining relationships with third party providers of maintenance repair and overhaul services
- Tracking vendor performance and advancing opportunities to secure preferred pricing, turn-time and volume rebates
- Identifying and participating in process improvement opportunities related to repair programs and processes
- Ensuring vendor contracts are adhered to and proper metrics/scorecarding are implemented in order to measure vendor performance
What You Need To Succeed
Minimum qualifications include:
- Minimum three to five years of experience in a material supply chain discipline such as procurement, repairs, pricing or related fields
- Demonstrated success in problem solving, analytical skills and data analysis
- Proficient in use of SAP, MS Office, Excel (V-lookups & Pivot tables)
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication and relationship-building skills required
- Must demonstrate the organization’s values of integrity, respect and perseverance
- Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data
- Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles
- Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency
- At least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States

- Bachelor’s degree preferred, preferably in Business, Finance/Accounting, Operations Management or Supply Chain Management
