DME Clerk/Delivery Driver

About the role

Citizens Health is recruiting a clerk/delivery driver to work in Durable Medical Equipment. A company vehicle will be provided to make deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Review delivery documentation to ensure that all information is accurate and complete and manage the flow.
• Cook up delivery and pick-up of home medical equipment for client/patients, and ensure that the client/patient and/or caregiver can demonstrate knowledge of proper operation of the equipment.
• Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner in all interactions with client/patients, and maintains professional appearance.
• Record client concerns and complaints, and forward to appropriate department for action.
• Monitor inventory levels to ensure timely deliveries; maintain lot number tracking; comply with recalls.
• Review all cleaning, maintenance, vehicle, and MSDS records for accuracy and compliance.
• Create a positive, supportive work atmosphere.
• Perform the duties of an CME technician/delivery driver as required.
• Report equipment hazards and/or product incidents as required in compliance with Company policy.
• Oversee proper cleaning, maintenance and repair of home medical equipment.
• Report any misconduct, suspicious or unethical activities to the Compliance Officer.
• Adhere to organization policies and procedures.
• Arrive at work on time and when scheduled.
• Perform work in an efficient and cost-effective manner.

Requirements

• Highschool Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record for the past three years.
• Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with customers and the public.
• Ability to interpret, adapt and apply guidelines and procedures.
• Ability to communicate clearly.
