Responsibilities
- Review patient account open balances.
- Assign and review ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes to outpatient medical records.
- Resubmit claims for incorrect denials.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 2-3 years of healthcare billing and coding support experience within Home Care Services preferred.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to use various computer programs and applications, including EMR/EHR.
- Ability to self-motivate and work independently.
- Ability to multi-task, set priorities, and manage time effectively.
- Medical Biller/Coder certification highly desired.
