About the Role
The Divisional VP of Finance manages the finances and financial reporting for assigned division(s) of FOI. This role serves as the key finance representative to physician owners and senior leadership in operations within the region, ensuring compliance with company and department policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of five years’ experience in accounting or financial analysis.
- Strong leadership, mathematical, interpersonal, and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Ability to pay close attention to detail and work well under pressure.
Responsibilities
- Provides analytical support and financial direction to physicians, operations, and other departments.
- Manages financial performance of assigned divisions to meet budget targets.
- Leads the development of regional and divisional budgets.
- Reviews financial results with division boards, executive leadership, and physicians.
- Answers financial questions for physician partners.
- Oversees capital purchasing and develops proformas for new equipment/expansion.
- Articulates corporate initiatives and develops plans to support them.
- Acts as an FOI expert on available corporate resources and when to use them.
- Maintains ownership of situations when corporate resources are engaged to ensure resolution.
- Plans, organizes, and communicates with leadership (locally and corporate).
- Leads projects as assigned by the CFO, including timeline development and task accountability.
- Manages financial activities and internal control processes to ensure compliance with company policies.
- Travel to various locations as required.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
