About the role
The Division Manager position is located in Jacksonville, Gainesville, Ocala, or Orlando, Florida. The purpose of this role is to develop and manage a team of field sales professionals within your assigned division, driving performance and achieving results aligned with the company's overall objectives.Responsibilities
- Ensure that assigned Trade Marketing Representatives meet objectives related to product sales, distribution, visibility, and inventory management while adhering to retail agreements and staying within allocated promotional budgets.
- Effectively plan, communicate, and align sales goals and objectives with the overall strategy.
- Provide strong field leadership by training, developing, and evaluating the performance of Sales Representatives within your territory. Enhance productivity, efficiency, and overall effectiveness, while also identifying high-potential team members for future growth and advancement opportunities.
- Maintain regular communication with distributors to ensure product availability, secure orders, and foster strong customer relationships. Focus on enhancing customer satisfaction and building long-term partnerships.
- Implement retail and wholesale promotional activities to increase brand awareness and engage potential customers and consumers with our products.
- People Management: Recruit, inspire, and mentor the team, both directly and indirectly reporting to you, while fostering their professional growth and development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 5 to 7 years of sales experience
- At least 2 years of management experience
- Proven experience in handling large, complex sales
- Fluency in English
- Proficient in computer applications, particularly the Office Suite
- Strong commercial acumen
- Excellent communication skills
- Effective selling skills
- Solid knowledge of Synergy (reporting & data)
- Strong analytical abilities
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a high-performing sales team
- Skilled negotiator with a focus on problem-solving and resolution
- Capable of lifting up to 25 pounds and holding a valid driver’s license
