Cooper Tacia General Contracting, established in 2003, has expanded from residential construction in Sanford, NC to encompass large-scale manufacturing, office buildings, government and education facilities, restaurants, retail spaces, apartment complexes, and airport construction across the southeastern United States. Responsibilities

• Full P&L oversight

• Reporting as required

• Direct oversight of office staff, preconstruction lead(s), business development (BD) lead(s), project management lead(s), etc.

• Full hiring / terminating / advancement / training / etc. responsibility

• Making our teams and people accountable

• Winning business is a fundamental responsibility

• Developing and tracking operating budgets that support growth and planning

• Planning for the future

• Publicly representing the business unit

• Fulfilling the company's civic duties

• Other tasks / initiatives as requested by corporate management

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or construction management with extensive experience in running all aspects of construction

• A keen understanding of business and risk management

• Advanced business degree preferred

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience running a general contracting business or construction business unit (construction) with full P&L responsibility

• Required Software Proficiency: Office Suite, Procore, Sales Force (CRM software), BlueBeam / Acrobat, Acumatica (accounting)
