Division Manager
Job Responsibilities
Assures a safe working environment while managing the safety guidelines of the facility and equipment.
Ensures profitability by following cost-saving guidelines and record keeping ensuring accurate inventory levels.
Schedules inbound materials, labor, production, and finished product deliveries based on sales demands.
Confirms deliveries with customers on a regular basis.
Supervises office staff, plant workers, and vehicle drivers.
Communicate with the sales force, customers, the corporate office, and other plant locations as needed.
Manages the quality of the products being distributed, produced, and sold.
Hires and evaluates staff by providing any employee training, conducting annual performance appraisals, and administering the progressive disciplinary process.
Operates machinery, as needed.
Works with freight companies, LTL companies, and TL carriers.
Compliant with Federal DOT Regulations and company driver policies and procedures.
Conducts daily and weekly tests to ensure compliance with UL and Home Innovation Research Labs standards.
Travel 20% of the time. One week a month averaging 1-2 nights outside the Spokane area.
Qualifications
3 years of supervisory or managerial experience within a production environment, required.
Experience working with freight companies such as LTL and TL, desired.
Familiarity with DOT Regulations helpful
