Responsibilities
- Teaching: Provide teaching and mentorship to medical students, residents, chief residents, and fellows when applicable.
- Research: Engage in research and participate in clinical, translational, and outcomes research.
- Service: Serve on departmental or School of Medicine level committees and engage in professional activities such as journal review, conference presentations, etc.
- Clinical: Serve as a leader in the Department of Pediatric Nephrology and work weekends and take call as necessary.
- Other: Take on administrative duties associated with this Division Chief role.
Qualifications
- Board-certified in pediatrics
- Board-certified or board-eligible in pediatric nephrology
- Experience with clinical care of patients
- Experience in an academic medical center
- Demonstrated ability to work in and foster an environment of respect, professionalism, and civility with a diverse population of faculty, staff, and students
Pay
