Division Chief of Pediatric Nephrology - F71550 - SOM/Pediatrics

Responsibilities

  • Teaching: Provide teaching and mentorship to medical students, residents, chief residents, and fellows when applicable.
  • Research: Engage in research and participate in clinical, translational, and outcomes research.
  • Service: Serve on departmental or School of Medicine level committees and engage in professional activities such as journal review, conference presentations, etc.
  • Clinical: Serve as a leader in the Department of Pediatric Nephrology and work weekends and take call as necessary.
  • Other: Take on administrative duties associated with this Division Chief role.

Qualifications

  • Board-certified in pediatrics
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in pediatric nephrology
  • Experience with clinical care of patients
  • Experience in an academic medical center
  • Demonstrated ability to work in and foster an environment of respect, professionalism, and civility with a diverse population of faculty, staff, and students

Pay

Salary range: Commensurate
