About The Role
The Company is in search of a Division Chief for Hematology Oncology and Medical Director for its Cancer Center. The successful candidate will be a visionary physician leader, providing strategic, clinical, academic, and operational leadership for the division and the cancer center.
- Continued development of a multidisciplinary oncology program
- Directing multi-disciplinary clinical services
- Increasing clinical trials while strengthening collaborations with various research entities
- Advancing academic scholarship and increasing extramural funding
- Retaining, recruiting, mentoring, and developing oncology faculty
- Engaging in direct patient care
- Advising and providing oversight of the Hematology/Oncology Fellowship Program
Requirements
- MD or DO
- ABMS Board Certified in Internal Medicine
- ABMS Board Certified in Hematology & Oncology
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical practice
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical leadership experience
- Preference for additional years in clinical practice, leadership, research, and a demonstrated track record in clinical trials, scholarship, and extramural funding
