Position Responsibilities
- Checks production work schedules for job assignment and work reporting time.
- When job assignment is SCALER/DIVIDER OPERATOR:
- Checks and maintains production schedule.
- Scales ingredients.
- Loads, operates and unloads mixer(s).
- Operates dough pump.
- Adjusts and operates one pocket and six pocket dividers.
- Adjusts and operates rounder.
- Adjusts and operates overhead proofer.
- Performs start-up/shut down sanitation and operator’s preventative maintenance.
- Ensures that work area is clean and organized.
- Performs other duties as directed by supervision.
- Ensures compliance with all company policies and procedures (EEO, Harassment, Safety, etc.).
- When job assignment is WRAPPING OPERATOR:
- Checks production schedule and verifies product running order.
- Checks pan count sheet for product quantity.
- Check production wrap count sheet for bag types.
- Sets and operates slicer, bagger, and tier equipment.
- Performs quality control inspection of finished product.
- Ensures that product is loaded correctly.
- Performs start-up/shut down sanitation and operator’s preventative maintenance.
- Ensures work area is clean and organized.
- Performs other duties as directed by supervision.
- Ensures compliance with all company policies and procedures (EEO, Harassment, Safety, etc.).
- When job assignment is PALLETIZER:
- Checks production schedule and verifies product running order.
- Checks to ensure that the proper program is running.
- Checks pallets, slip sheets, etc. for quantity.
- Performs start-up/shut down sanitation and operator’s preventative maintenance.
- Ensures work area is clean and organized.
- Performs other duties as directed by supervision.
- Ensures compliance with all company policies and procedures (EEO, Harassment, Safety, etc.).
- Similar responsibilities apply when assignment is ROLL LINE OPERATOR, BOARD MONITOR, RETARD BOX MONITOR.
- All employees will be responsible and accountable for insuring the quality and safety of every function and all products.
Essential Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalency.
- Two years related bakery or production experience.
