We need to output HTML fragment with sections: About the role? The description includes Position Summary, Core Responsibilities (with sub-sections), Requirements, Salary. We need to use
for section headings. Do not repeat job title. No Job ID. Remove boilerplate. Provide
for prose,
- for lists.
We need to preserve all substantive info. The posting includes Position Summary paragraph, then Core Responsibilities with bullet-like sentences (some are run-on). We need to convert to list items. Also there are sub-sections: Collaboration, Program Design and Curriculum Development; Teaching & Professional Learning; Student & Family Engagement. Those could be headings? The instruction says use
for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). So we should have sections: About the role (maybe from Position Summary), Responsibilities (core responsibilities), Requirements, Pay (salary). Possibly also Benefits? Not present. Schedule? Not present (though part-time 0.6 FTE mentioned). That could be Schedule? But they said only include section when posting has real specific content. The posting says "This is a Part-time position 0.6 FTE." That's schedule info. Could include Schedule section. But they said prefer few substantive sections over many thin ones. Might combine schedule into About the role or Pay? Probably better to have a Schedule section with that detail. However they said "never create Pay/Schedule/Benefits sections unless the posting actually states them." It does state part-time 0.6 FTE, so we can include Schedule. Pay is stated: salary range. So include Pay. Thus sections: About the role (Position Summary), Responsibilities (Core Responsibilities), Requirements, Pay, Schedule. We need to format responsibilities as list items. Might break down into subpoints but we can just list each responsibility sentence as
- . Ensure we preserve all info.
Let's extract:
Position Summary: "The Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging Curriculum Coordinator serves as a strategic and collaborative leader responsible for advancing inclusive educational programming, equitable practices, and a strong sense of belonging across the school community. Working in close partnership with academic leaders, educators, students, and families, this role helps ensure that diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) principles are thoughtfully integrated into curriculum design, teaching practices, student programming, and community engagement. This is a part-time, in-person position beginning in the 2026-2027 Academic Year. The successful candidate will report directly to our Upper School Division Head, and work in close collaboration with the Senior Academic Leadership Team, across all lower, middle and upper school divisions supporting all academic departments."
We might split schedule part later.
Core Responsibilities: It has headings within: Collaboration, Program Design and Curriculum Development; Teaching & Professional Learning; Student & Family Engagement.
We need to capture each bullet.
Under Collaboration, Program Design and Curriculum Development:
- Partner with academic leaders to institutionalize best practices for inclusive educational programming and pedagogical excellence, including standards-based curricula mapping
- Lead Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB) coordinators in the implementation of DEIB related curriculum and programming.
- Collaborate with educators to provide academic, emotional, and social support for students and families.
- Provide resources and guidance to educators for integrating diverse concepts, texts, and perspectives into classroom teaching.
- Create, develop, communicate, and implement a coherent, thoughtfully aligned schedule of DEIB programming for the student and family community (e.g. heritage months, community gatherings, Seeking Educational Equity & Diversity (SEED), etc.).
Teaching & Professional Learning:
- Collaborate with the Director of Talent Management to design and facilitate Professional Learning Communities for all staff and faculty.
- Design and lead professional learning that strengthens inclusive pedagogy, equitable practices, and cross-disciplinary DEIB integration.
Student & Family Engagement:
- Oversee and lead the implementation of student affinity and alliance spaces.
- Organize and chaperone student attendance at regional diversity conferences.
- Work with academic leadership to measure and analyze data about the student and family experience and identify areas of progress, targets for improvement, and next steps to drive the attainment of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging goals.
- Work with the Carroll Family Association (CFA) to ensure a strong, inclusive community for parents/caregivers, partnering with the Inclusion, Diversity, Equity Alliance (IDEA).
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership experience and knowledge within DEIB or social justice-related context, ideally within a school context.
- Highly relational leader, with strong communication and organizational skills.
- Student-centered, team-first approach to learning and support.
- Proven experience in designing curriculum, building staff capacity in DEIB topics and concepts, and teaching students between the ages of 6 and 15.
- Systems thinker with the ability to develop, scale and sustain equity practices and policies, while also balancing day to day tasks.
- Enthusiasm for continuous learning and personal development.
- Ability to manage complexity with compassion, discretion and sound judgment.
- Strong facilitation skills; SEED facilitator training preferred.
- Ability to ensure that all constituencies are valued and seen as their authentic selves.
Salary:
- "This is a Part-time position 0.6 FTE.Exact salary offered is dependent on educational credentials and years of experience. $45 000-$57 000/yr"
We need to separate schedule and pay. The sentence includes both part-time 0.6 FTE and salary range. We could put schedule: "This is a part-time, in-person position beginning in the 2026-2027 Academic Year. The successful candidate will report directly to our Upper School Division Head, and work in close collaboration with the Senior Academic Leadership Team, across all lower, middle and upper school divisions supporting all academic departments." Actually that part is in Position Summary. The schedule specifics: part-time 0.6 FTE. So schedule section could contain: "This is a part-time position (0.6 FTE)." Also maybe mention start year? That's in Position Summary. But we already used Position Summary for About the role. Might duplicate. Better to keep About the role as the summary without schedule details, and Schedule section just the FTE. However the instruction: "Prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones." Could combine schedule into About the role? But they said include section only when posting has real specific content. The posting does have schedule content (part-time 0.6 FTE). So we could have Schedule section with that detail. The About the role can still include the rest of summary (excluding the schedule line). Let's extract About the role text without the schedule line: The summary sentences before "This is a part-time, in-person position beginning in the 2026-2027 Academic Year." Actually the schedule line is separate sentence: "This is a part-time, in-person position beginning in the 2026-2027 Academic Year." Then later: "The successful candidate will report directly to our Upper School Division Head, and work in close collaboration with the Senior Academic Leadership Team, across all lower, middle and upper school divisions supporting all academic departments." That's also part of summary but not schedule. Could keep in About the role.
Thus About the role paragraph: combine the first two sentences? Actually first sentence: "The Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging Curriculum Coordinator serves as a strategic and collaborative leader responsible for advancing inclusive educational programming, equitable practices, and a strong sense of belonging across the school community." Second: "Working in close partnership with academic leaders, educators, students, and families, this role helps ensure that diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) principles are thoughtfully integrated into curriculum design, teaching practices, student programming, and community engagement." Third: "The successful candidate will report directly to our Upper School Division Head, and work in close collaboration with the Senior Academic Leadership Team, across all lower, middle and upper school divisions supporting all academic departments."
We'll put those in
. Schedule: "
This is a part-time position (0.6 FTE).
" Could also mention start year? Already in About the role? Not included. But we could add start year in Schedule? Might be better to include start year in About the role as it's part of summary. But we omitted it. Let's re-evaluate: The summary includes start year. If we omit it, we lose info. The instruction: preserve ALL substantive information. So we must keep start year somewhere. Could include it in About the role. So we need to incorporate start year sentence into About the role. Then Schedule section only about FTE. That preserves all info. Thus About the role paragraph: combine first two sentences + the sentence about reporting + the sentence about start year? Actually start year sentence: "This is a part-time, in-person position beginning in the 2026-2027 Academic Year." That includes part-time and start year. But we want to separate FTE. However the sentence includes both part-time and start year. We could split: About the role includes start year and reporting lines; Schedule includes FTE. But the sentence also says part-time, in-person position. That's schedule info. If we move that to Schedule, we lose in-person detail. Could keep in About the role: "This is a part-time, in-person position beginning in the 2026-2027 Academic Year." Then Schedule: "0.6 FTE". But that splits the sentence. Might be okay. Better: Keep About the role as the first two sentences plus the reporting sentence. Then Schedule: "This is a part-time position (0.6 FTE)." And we lose the "in-person" and start year. But start year is important. Could add start year to Schedule: "Beginning in the 2026-2027 Academic Year, this is a part-time position (0.6 FTE)." That preserves start year and FTE. Then About the role loses the part-time/in-person/start year sentence, but we still have the first two sentences and reporting sentence. That seems acceptable and preserves all info: start year appears in Schedule, FTE appears there, in-person appears? We lost "in-person". Could add "in-person" to Schedule as well: "Beginning in the 2026-2027 Academic Year, this is a part-time, in-person position (0.6 FTE)." That captures all schedule info. Then About the role loses that sentence entirely, but we still have the first two sentences and reporting sentence. That preserves all info: we have not lost any substantive detail. Good. Thus About the role paragraph: first two sentences + reporting sentence. Let's craft: "The Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging Curriculum Coordinator serves as a strategic and collaborative leader responsible for advancing inclusive educational programming, equitable practices, and a strong sense of belonging across the school community. Working in close partnership with academic leaders, educators, students, and families, this role helps ensure that diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) principles are thoughtfully integrated into curriculum design, teaching practices, student programming, and community engagement. The successful candidate will report directly to our Upper School Division Head, and work in close collaboration with the Senior Academic Leadership Team, across all lower, middle and upper school divisions supporting all academic departments." Now Schedule: "Beginning in the 2026-2027 Academic Year, this is a part-time, in-person position (0.6 FTE).
" Pay: "Exact salary offered is dependent on educational credentials and years of experience. $45,000-$57,000/yr
" Note original had a space: "$45 000-$57 000/yr". We should format with commas for readability but must preserve info; altering formatting is okay as long as numbers same. We'll output "$45,000-$57,000/yr". Now Responsibilities: we needResponsibilities
