Diversional Care Aide

About the role

Responsible for providing diversional care to residents in a senior care facility, focusing on activities that promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement daily activities that engage residents
• Assist residents with personal care needs
• Monitor residents' health and report any concerns to supervisors
• Participate in team meetings to discuss resident progress and care plans

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Experience working with seniors preferred
• Ability to pass a background check

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills
• Positive attitude and ability to work well with others
• Flexibility to work varying hours including evenings and weekends
