Dive Bartender

About the role

You will be in charge of taking drink orders, recommending beer and wine, preparing traditional and unique mixed drinks, and maintaining the bar area so it is clean and sanitary at all times. Responsibilities

• Ensure that all customer checks and tabs are paid as well as record daily sales total and enter into point of sale system
• Restock and clean as instructed, including side work for opening and closing of the restaurant
• Purchase needed bar supplies, stock and track all wine, liquor, and beer stocks, and have a full supply of glassware on hand, notifying management of any supply issues or shortages
• Properly identify customers' age through identification cards, and serve alcoholic beverages following all applicable federal, state, local, and company rules and regulations
• Take patron orders and deliver a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages including wine, beer, liquor, and mixed drinks

Qualifications

• Previous bartending experience required; upscale cocktail or craft bar experience strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, premium spirits, wine, beer, and modern mixology techniques
• Ability to create and consistently execute high-quality, handcrafted cocktails
• Experience preparing cocktail ingredients from scratch, including syrups, infusions, garnishes, and other specialty components
• Strong attention to presentation, detail, and consistency
• Ability to provide polished, elevated guest service in an upscale bar environment
• Comfortable making recommendations and speaking knowledgeably about spirits and cocktails
• Responsible for bar prep, maintaining mise en place, and assisting with cocktail menu execution
• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually polished bar
• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining service and quality standards during busy periods

Pay

Compensation: $10 plus tips

Schedule

Evening and weekend availability required, with some holidays. Schedule will vary based on business levels and events. Position begins part‑time with potential to transition to full‑time.
