BASIC FUNCTION
The District Service Manager (DSM) will work a defined schedule at locations within their assigned areas; malls, fitness clubs, amusement parks, etc. Duties will include, overall P&L responsibility (including locations managed by direct reports), client relationship management, managing the daily work and professional development of direct reports, and leading the planning and execution of equipment installations and removals. Duties will also include performing monthly collections, repairing, cleaning, and performing regular maintenance on equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for area P&L, with the expectation to deliver revenue growth vs. annual and budgeted plans.
- Deliver effective leadership and coaching to a team of approx 15.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including, customers, clients, and peers.
- Identify Key Performance Indicators to maximize flow-through to improve profitability.
- Manage recruiting, hiring, and training of all positions within district.
- Inspect and perform maintenance on equipment; Strollers, Stroller Management Units, Massage Chairs, and Locker Systems.
- Perform cash and credit card collections accurately and efficiently, deposit collections and complete end of month paperwork in a timely manner.
- Complete and submit all necessary reports in an accurate and timely manner.
- Regular cleaning and testing to ensure clean and functional equipment is available.
- Maintain database to record completion of daily tasks, equipment meter readings, and service history of all equipment.
- Establish, organize, and replenish personal inventory of replacement parts, tools, and cleaning equipment.
- Manage locations in accordance with applicable state and federal laws, as well as Smarte Carte and facility policies, procedures, and standards.
- Absorb and assist with the installation of new locations or the upgrade of existing locations.
- Daily local travel travel to service multiple areas in MN, SD and northern WI.

EDUCATION
- Technical degree preferred
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of management experience, leading teams of approx 10 people
- Minimum 2 years of field-based product support experience (route preferred)
- Minimum 2 years in a customer service role
- Understanding of electro/mechanical assembly, troubleshooting, and repair
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES
- Ability to get airport badged required (consumer check)
- Ability to get USPS badge required (background check, drug screen)
- Driver License required
