District School Bus Driver

Multiple School Bus Driver positions available starting as soon as possible, transporting Early Childhood through 8th Grade students for Arbor Park School District 145.

Current IDOT CDL with Passenger and School Bus endorsements, plus a valid Medical Card, are required. The Transportation Facility is located on Forest Avenue in Oak Forest.

Responsibilities

• Operate school buses to transport students safely to and from school and school-related activities.
• Adhere to assigned morning and afternoon routes and schedules as determined by the Transportation Coordinator.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Ensure compliance with all traffic laws, district policies, and safety regulations.

Schedule

• 6 hours per day, split between morning and afternoon shifts.
• 178 days each school year, following the district’s academic calendar.
• Extra duty and summer school opportunities may be available.

Pay

Salary based on years of experience. All drivers are guaranteed 6 hours of pay per day.
