School Bus Driver

About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated School Bus Driver responsible for safely transporting students to and from school and activities. The role involves adhering to safety protocols, managing student behavior, and ensuring a positive experience during transit.

Responsibilities

• Operate buses following traffic laws and safety regulations
• Transport students to various locations, including schools and events
• Enforce behavior management policies and maintain order on the bus
• Conduct vehicle inspections for safety and cleanliness
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, staff, and dispatchers
• Assist students with boarding and disembarking, including those with special needs
• Maintain accurate records of routes, attendance, and incidents
• Follow all transportation regulations and standards

Requirements

• Proven experience in bus or commercial driving; school bus experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record; CDL with passenger endorsement preferred
• Ability to write reports and documentation related to transportation

Qualifications & Skills

• Strong communication skills, including multilingual abilities
• Mechanical knowledge for routine vehicle maintenance
• Experience working with children or in childcare settings
