Role & Responsibility
Inside Sales & Dealer Portfolio Management
- Own and actively manage a defined group of dealers to drive retail sales growth and market share
- Conduct regular outbound calls and virtual touchpoints to:
- Identify retail opportunities and pipeline gaps
- Influence dealer ordering behavior and inventory decisions
- Monitor performance against retail targets
- Serve as the day-to-day sales contact for assigned dealers, ensuring responsiveness and follow-through
- Track dealer performance metrics and recommend targeted actions to improve results
Sales Execution & Program Support
- Execute and reinforce sales programs, promotions, and campaigns with assigned dealers
- Support pricing, rebate, and program-related inquiries to ensure timely deal execution
- Facilitate equipment availability by coordinating transfers and identifying inventory solutions to close deals
- Partner with District Managers to align on territory priorities and maximize retail outcomes
Dealer Development & Enablement
- Provide ongoing coaching and guidance to dealers on:
- Product positioning
- Retail selling strategies
- Program utilization
- Identify capability gaps and connect dealers to training resources or field support
- Reinforce consistent customer experience expectations across assigned dealers
Data-Driven Sales Support
- Utilize internal systems and reporting to:
- Identify stocking gaps and retail opportunities
- Analyze performance trends within assigned dealer group
- Translate data insights into clear, actionable recommendations for dealers and District Managers
Training & Development
- Participate in field shadowing and training to build readiness for a future District Manager role
- Develop knowledge of Bobcat products, sales programs, and dealer operations through hands-on and virtual experiences
Job Requirement
- 0-2 years of experience in sales, customer support or related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and insights
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and business systems
- Self-motivated, performance-driven, and highly organized
- Experience in inside sales, dealer support, or account management
- Knowledge of agriculture, construction, or industrial equipment
- Familiarity with dealership operations or channel sales models
- Primarily office-based role with extended time spent on phone and virtual platforms
- Occasional travel for training, ride-along’s, or dealer events
- Fast-paced environment requiring multi-tasking and responsiveness
Education
- We value skills gained through both education and experience. Applicants may qualify with a bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field or with two additional years of relevant professional experience
