District Sales Representative

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a profitable sales route by selling and servicing existing customers, opening new accounts, and increasing existing sales volume
• Maintain a professional relationship with current and prospective customers by meeting with them one on one
• Utilize company specialists, vendors, and brokers and sampling of products to provide and demonstrate available products to customers
• Manage account receivables for all customer accounts and ensure cash receipts and deposit slips are handled according to Company policy

Qualifications

• Strong Foodservice sales experience
• A strong desire to sell and work on a commission basis
• Excellent driving record
• Great communication and organizational skills
• Experience selling to owners, purchasing directors, and chefs of medium to large businesses
• Must have sold against heavy competition and sold at a higher price
• Must be willing to prospect and have a track record of being a good closer
• Creative and a good problem solver
• Experience in Foodservice or Hospitality is very helpful
• Must have had success selling as a commissioned salesperson in past

This position will service Indiana communities around Fort Wayne. This Career Opportunity is in Foodservice selling to the Hospitality Industry in Indiana primarily in Fort Wayne area.
