About the role

The District Sales & Service Manager will execute all business development and sales activities for Dana’s key light vehicle customers in the Southwest U.S. territory (Phoenix or surrounding area-based), working remotely from a home office. This role focuses on growing sales of existing core products and identifying new product and technical programs to drive profitable growth at Light Vehicle Warehouse Distributors (WD) and Retail customer locations.

Responsibilities

  • Grow, develop, and maintain strategic relationships with retail and traditional aftermarket locations within the assigned multi-state territory.
  • Promote Dana products and solutions to both direct and indirect customers.
  • Develop and maintain technical competency for Dana products.
  • Manage key retail location relationships in collaboration with the national account manager.
  • Maintain current knowledge of competitor activities and market changes.
  • Represent the voice-of-the-customer within Dana and manage customer metrics.
  • Develop sales strategies and objectives to achieve assigned KPIs.
  • Drive results with aftermarket customers (retailers, distributors, technicians, service providers).
  • Make product presentations to purchasing, sales, and other customer representatives.
  • Respond to customer requests for day-to-day requirements.
  • Partner with internal Dana teams (product, pricing, engineering, marketing, finance, training) to achieve growth objectives.
  • Execute marketing and new product launches as directed by leadership.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • 5 years of experience in aftermarket light vehicle or similar industry sales and business development, with a proven track record in building customer relationships and negotiation.
  • Knowledge and understanding of driveline products as related to the Light Vehicle Industry.
  • Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time, with the ability to work non-traditional business hours.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
