District Manager of Retail Sales & Operations Blufox Mobile- Michigan
About the role
The District Manager oversees multiple retail locations, develops high-performing teams, drives growth, and ensures a world-class customer experience. This role requires a strategic leader who can balance sales performance, talent development, operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and profitability across multiple locations.
Responsibilities
Lead and support multiple retail store locations within an assigned district
Manage and develop Store Managers and retail leadership teams
Build a culture of accountability, performance, and employee engagement
Conduct regular store visits to evaluate operations, sales execution, and customer experience
Identify and develop future leaders through coaching and succession planning
Drive district-wide sales performance and exceed revenue goals
Develop and execute strategic sales initiatives and growth plans
Monitor key business metrics including: Revenue Conversion Rates, Customer Acquisition, Customer Retention, Gross Profit, Productivity, Net Promoter Score (NPS)
Analyze performance data and implement action plans to improve results
Partner with Store Managers to maximize sales opportunities and operational efficiency
Talent Development & Coaching
Recruit, hire, train, and retain top-performing retail leaders
Create performance evaluations and leadership coaching sessions
Create development plans for Store Managers and emerging leaders
Partner with Leadership and Training teams to implement sales training programs
Foster a high-performance culture focused on continuous improvement
Retail Operations Management
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and operational standards
Oversee inventory management, cash handling, merchandising, and store presentation
Identify operational efficiencies and cost-saving opportunities
Maintain consistency in execution across all district locations
Ensure stores meet company standards for compliance, safety, and customer experience
Customer Experience Leadership
Champion a customer-first culture throughout the district
Drive improvements in customer satisfaction and Net Promoter Scores (NPS)
Support teams in resolving escalated customer concerns
Ensure stores consistently deliver exceptional service experiences
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree Or Equivalent Leadership Experience: 5+ years of experience in: District Management, Area Management, Multi-Unit Retail Management, Retail Operations Leadership, Sales Management
Proven track record of leading multiple locations and achieving sales goals
Experience Developing Managers And High-performing Teams
Strong business acumen and analytical skills
Ability to travel throughout assigned territory
Qualifications
Preferred Telecommunications Industry Experience: Wireless Retail, Comcast Xfinity, Cable Industry, Consumer Electronics Retail, Commission-Based Sales Leadership
