About the role
The position involves managing a network of convenience stores, both owned and licensed, primarily in the Southern Tennessee and Northern Alabama regions. The District Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with brand standards and driving sales growth through strategic partnerships with licensees.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with licensed convenience store operators.
- Ensure licensees adhere to brand standards and participate in marketing, pricing, credit, promotions, and loyalty programs to boost sales.
- Act as the primary liaison between licensees and company headquarters, facilitating communication and collaboration.
- Regularly meet with licensees for training, marketing, and sales purposes to foster a cooperative environment.
- Conduct monthly and quarterly business reviews to provide feedback and identify areas for improvement.
- Maintain open lines of communication and positive working relationships with licensees and other internal company functions.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and complaints, ensuring issues are resolved effectively.
- Manage expenses within budgeted limits and work towards achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Provide price counseling to optimize sales performance.
Requirements
- Proven track record in managing similar roles with convenience or quick serve restaurant licensees.
- Knowledge of fuels marketing and familiarity with convenience store operations.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, including the ability to plan and execute tasks efficiently.
- Ability to quickly learn and utilize basic computer programs.
- 75% travel within the designated region (Southern Tennessee to Northern Alabama).
