About the role
The District manager will ensure that each General Manager is equipped to deliver sales, profit, engaged associates & an exceptional customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Review targeted reports and store processes to identify sales and profit benchmarking opportunities across the district & within the region.
- Understand the competitive landscape by observing and studying other companies to learn about current initiatives/strategies.
- Assess General Managers and leadership team to determine talent opportunities and impact on store performance.
- Engage General Managers in discussions regarding their own strengths to leverage and opportunities to develop along with how better to lead and engage their teams towards extraordinary performance.
- Assessing talent across the district leadership teams to develop session plans.
- Ensure the use of company training tools are being fully utilized and teams are held accountable.
- Shape the culture of the stores by modeling core values and leadership capabilities across store teams.
- Consistently use and champion technology to impact team efficiency and the customer experience.
- Create a work environment throughout the stores that inspires team members to do the best work of their lives.
- Set clear expectations and drive accountability by taking immediate action on performance issues within the team.
- Embodies and articulates the vision of the brand.
- Review and evaluate the execution of store environment standards and the customer experience.
- Encourage team to engage and support their local community through store or company initiative.
